Two people arriving by train to Churchill, Manitoba were arrested on October 23 after allegedly transporting MDMA.
Officially called 3,4-methylenedioxymethamphetamine, RCMP seized 12 grams from the passengers, which is a significant amount for the size of the northern community.
Lisa Allen, 33, from Churchill and Adrian Traverse, 28, from Winnipeg, were charged for possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking.
They were both released on a promise to appear in Churchill court on March 16, 2015.
