Two Charged After MDMA Bust at Churchill Train Station

RCMP Crest LogoTwo people arriving by train to Churchill, Manitoba were arrested on October 23 after allegedly transporting MDMA.

Officially called 3,4-methylenedioxymethamphetamine, RCMP seized 12 grams from the passengers, which is a significant amount for the size of the northern community.

Lisa Allen, 33, from Churchill and Adrian Traverse, 28, from Winnipeg, were charged for possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking.

They were both released on a promise to appear in Churchill court on March 16, 2015.
