Man Charged in Maryland Street Cocaine Bust

Winnipeg Police CrestA search warrant on a home in the 100 block of Maryland Street has turned up over $12,000 in crack cocaine.

Winnipeg police searched the residence on Wednesday shortly after 11:30 a.m., where they also seized marijuana worth $110, and $11,300 in currency.

Darin Michael Ferbrache, 52, of Winnipeg was arrested without incident.

He has been charged with two counts of possession of a scheduled substance, and possession of proceeds obtained by crime.

Ferbrache remains in custody.
