A $10,000 grant from the Winnipeg Foundation will fund a new art project at Community Living Winnipeg.
The non-profit organization assists people with intellectual disabilities and their families.
Called “New View,” the project is slated to begin in January to bring awareness, employment, education and inclusion to both adults living with disability, and the wider community.
The organization will be collaborating with the Arts and Disability Network of Manitoba to hire professional artists to teach classes throughout the city.
