WINNIPEG — Playoff implications are on the line Saturday as the Manitoba Bisons host their last football game of the season.
Manitoba sits fourth in league standings at 3-4 while the Calgary Dinos are ranked #2 at 6-1.
Calgary and the University of Saskatchewan have already clinched a playoff spot, where the remaining teams in the conference could tie for third place in a freak scenario.
“It’s crazy. Every one of us, I’m sure, we’re all shaking our heads,” Bisons head coach Brian Dobie said. “Everybody’s made their own bed.”
Dobie draws the contrast of his team being a completely different Herd at home and on the road. The Bisons haven’t won a game away from home all season.
“I can’t tell you why,” Dobie added. “We’re going out there to win the football game and we’re determined to do that, and we’re preparing to do that. Bring it on — that’s how it should be.”
Kickoff is at 2 p.m. at Investors Group Field. Tickets are available through Ticketmaster.
