A man was sent to hospital in critical condition Saturday morning after being shot in the upper body in the 800 block of Manitoba Avenue.
Winnipeg police responded at around 3:15 a.m. for a report of shots fired. The victim was later upgraded to stable condition in hospital.
A second man suffered non-life threatening injuries from being assaulted, and is also listed in stable condition.

UPDATE: Monday, November 3 — A 17-year-old male from Winnipeg has been charged with two counts of assault with a weapon, assault causing bodily harm, and mischief under $5,000. He was detained at the Manitoba Youth Centre.
