The call is out for submissions in the seventh annual Aboriginal Music Week 2015.
Applications are being accepted from First Nation, Inuit, Métis, Native American, and Indigenous music artists for paid performance spots from August 18-22 in Winnipeg.
The organizing committee has four big community celebrations, four lunch hour concerts, three days of workshops for youth, two networking dinners, an open mic, and a closing night party planned.
The deadline for submissions is Thursday, December 4, 2014 at 4 p.m. CT. E-mail, Sonicbids, fax, printed, and incomplete submissions will not be accepted.
The Aboriginal Music Week programming committee will be reviewing all submissions in December. The committee is looking for artists with outstanding music, quality promotional photographs, great video content, a willingness to help the festival promote their concert, and a reputation for being nice to staff and volunteers. Only successful applicants will be contacted.
