Three Arrested After Shot Fired at North Kildonan Party

Winnipeg Police CrestThree people have been arrested after a shot was fired in a North Kildonan home over the weekend.

Winnipeg police were called to the 200 block of Edelweiss Crescent on Saturday at around 7:30 a.m. to check on the wellbeing of individuals inside.

Police say a 19-year-old man had been socializing with people at the home, but was asked to leave by the homeowners after an altercation occurred. He later returned with two other people and one of them fired a shot after all three forced their way into the home.

No one was injured as a result of the firearm being discharged.

Police have arrested Dakota Brent Myran-Hardisty, 18, Stephan Alexander Preston Flett, 19, and an 18-year-old woman. All three face a number of charges, including break and enter. The two men remain in custody, while the woman was released on a promise to appear.
