Well water in the RM of Argyle, Manitoba was tampered with approximately 50 litres of used motor oil late last month.
RCMP received a report on October 29 about two separate wells under construction that were tampered with.
The wells were not yet connected to the town of Pilot Mound’s water supply, and no water was consumed or distributed. Manitoba Conservation and Water Stewardship was on scene immediately, and crews were able to remove the contaminant before it mixed in with the water supply.
