Bogus Bomb Threat Evacuates 230 People in Leaf Rapids

RCMP Crest LogoManitoba RCMP responded to what turned out to be a false report of an explosive device at the Leaf Rapids Education Centre on Wednesday.

About 230 people were evacuated from the Town Centre Complex, which houses the education and health centres.

The RCMP Explosive Device Unit was called in to investigate, and determined no explosive was inside the building.

Police are looking for the individual who made the threat.
