The fifth annual Empty Bowls Soup-er Lunch served up more than 1,200 bowls of soup. The event was also the launch to the first ever Soup-er Day at 25 participating restaurants, where donors could order the soup of the day with proceeds going to Winnipeg Harvest.

The program is part of Winnipeg Harvest’s Empty Bowls programs which also includes the Empty Bowl Celebrity Auction, which took place on October 14 at the Delta Winnipeg and raised $340,000.
