Men Charged After Gun Pointed at Teens in St. Vital

Winnipeg Police CrestTwo 17-year-old girls waiting in a vehicle for a family member were startled Saturday night when having — what they believed to be a real gun — pointed at them in St. Vital.

Winnipeg police say two disguised men armed with a handgun approached the victims and tapped on the window with the gun in the area of the 200 block of Regal Avenue at around 10 p.m. The driver fled when one of the suspects pointed the gun directly at both of the victims.

Police later located both suspects hiding in a field nearby. Police also recovered a BB gun (357 magnum replica) in the area.

Moses Swan, 19, of Winnipeg has been charged with the disguise with intent and failing to comply with a probation order

Both suspects remain in custody.
