The Winnipeg Art Gallery is doing its part to support the Movember initiative and help raise funds for men’s health issues.

Anyone who visits the WAG from Friday, November 21 to Sunday, November 23 — and is wearing a moustache (real or fake) — will see $1 from their admission donated to Movember.

The event is also in part to promote the WAG’s current exhibit, Dali Up Close.

“Salvador Dali has one of the best moustaches in history so participating in Movember is a natural fit for the WAG,” said Dr. Stephen Borys, WAG director and CEO. “Engaging in community relationships is at the core of the WAG’s mission. We are happy to support Movember with a donation weekend and brunch to help spread the word about the importance of men’s health.”

Admission to Movember at the WAG is $18 for adults, $14 for students/seniors and $46 for a family (two adults, four children under 18).
