How high will the Tower of Toys go? That’s up to you.
The Forks Market Merchants’ Association launched their 14th annual toy drive on Friday in support of the Christmas Cheer Board, encouraging the public to bring a new, unwrapped toy to ensure a child has a gift to open this holiday season.
“It’s really wonderful to watch the tower grow higher and higher as the holiday spirit captures the hearts of visitors to The Forks,” said Joyce Gittins, chair of the Tower of Toys campaign. “Last year we sent over $25,000 in toys to the Christmas Cheer Board, our largest amount yet, and this year we hope to contribute even more.”
Donations can be dropped off during regular business hours to the centre court tower at The Forks.
The Christmas Cheer Board will officially launch its own campaign on Tuesday, November 25.
