Smoothie Bar at the University of Winnipeg’s Duckworth Centre. (HANDOUT)
Two new healthy-eating options at the University of Winnipeg are being made available to students and the university community.
Smoothie Bar is now open and Cafe Bodhi and will be open for business within a week.
The smoothies are made with all natural ingredients and no added sugar, along with fresh squeezed vegetable juices.
Café Bodhi, operated by Diversity Food Services, features a grab and go counter style service. It will serve soups and baking made from scratch, along with Green Bean organic Direct Trade Coffee.
Both establishments are located on the second floor of the Duckworth Centre, which is now connected to the new United Health and RecPlex on Spence Street via a skybridge.
Smoothie Bar will operate from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and any time there is a sporting event, while Café Bodhi will be open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday to Saturday.
