Winnipeg’s annual snow route parking ban comes into effect Monday, December 1.
The ban means parking is prohibited on streets designated at snow routes between 2 a.m. and 7 a.m.
Snow routes are a priority for snow clearing to ensure that emergency vehicles can navigate quickly and safely.
Vehicles caught parked in violation of the ban will receive a $100 ticket ($50 if paid early), and may be towed.
