In a move of transparency, the City of Winnipeg has placed performance data from its 311 contact centre online.
The data includes both monthly and annual statistics to show the public the types of inquiries that are handled by representatives at the centre.
“I campaigned on a platform of openness and transparency, and I am committed to making sure that data is more accessible to citizens,” said Mayor Brian Bowman. “That is why I am pleased that 311 is making this information available to our citizens on the City’s website at the click of a mouse.”
Data includes monthly call volumes, total service requests compared to information request, service requests by department, and interactions by phone, e-mail and self-service.
Data will be published online monthly and is completely automated.
