A new fundraising event at the 2015 Festival du Voyageur will also satisfy your appetite.
The Winter Feast will be a three-course meal and concert by folk band Le Vent du Nord on Saturday, February 14 at the Voyageur Trading Post, 340 Provencher Boulevard.
The theme of the night is inspired by the long journeys of voyageurs who would travel across the country to bring mail to the east.
The fundraiser will support Fort Gibraltar in St. Boniface to maintain its upkeep.
Presales passes for the 46th annual winter festival, held February 13-22, 2015, go on sale today.
Reduced rates are $28 for adults (as opposed to $30), $14 instead of $16 for youths (13-17 years old), and $9 instead of $11 for children (5-12 years old). The presale will take place exclusively at the Festival du Voyageur offices, 233 Provencher Boulevard, at (204) 233-ALLO (2556), 147 Provencher Boulevard., Unit 106 and through Festival du Voyageur’s online box office.
