Winnipeg Blue Bombers wide receiver Clarence Denmark has been named one of 26 players to join the 2014 CFL All-Star team.
Denmark broke the 1000-yard mark for the first time in his four year CFL career, while tying his career best in catches with 65. He finished the 2014 season second in CFL receiving yardage with 1,080, adding three touchdowns.
“This is a great honour to be recognized as a CFL All-Star, alongside some of the best in our league,” Denmark said in a release. “It’s an offensive award and would not have been accomplished without our entire offensive staff, players and especially Drew (Willy), who is a real leader for our team.”
All-Stars were chosen by 62 voters in the Football Reporters of Canada (FRC) and the league’s head coaches.
Denmark signed an extension with Winnipeg in September through 2016.
