Woman Sexually Assaulted at University of Winnipeg

Winnipeg Police CrestA 23-year-old woman was sexually assaulted Wednesday on the University of Winnipeg campus.

Police say the victim noticed a suspicious man watching her at around 11:45 a.m. While on the escalators going from the 3rd floor to the 4th floor, the same man allegedly groped her in the lower body from behind. He then walked by the victim and left the area.

The suspect is described as 22-years-old, dark or tanned complexion, 5’6” tall, heavy build, squinty eyes, clean shaven, wearing a black faded jacket with faded yellow reflective tape on the front.
