Grey Cup Festival LogoWINNIPEG — The logo and branding for the 103rd Grey Cup to be held in Winnipeg next year have been unveiled.

The Winnipeg Football Club, along with civic and provincial officials, pulled back the tarp on the imagery of the Grey Cup Festival on Friday and the “You Belong Here” slogan.

The unveiling happened at Winnipeg Square, which has been named the official headquarters of the festival to coincide with a new Grey Cup store in the mall.

Quarterback Drew Willy and wide receiver Clarence Denmark signed autographs outside the new store for fans on their lunch breaks.

“The Grey Cup has been an iconic celebration, stamped on Canadian history for more than a century, and this logo will be a part of that history, representing all things Grey Cup in 2015,” said Jason Smith, president of the 103rd Grey Cup Festival.

More than 10,000 people are expected to visit Manitoba for Grey Cup week next November.

Winnipeg has played host to the Grey Cup three times, in 1991, 1998 and 2006.

“Everyone at the Winnipeg Football Club is exciting for the opportunity to invite football fans from across Canada into our world class stadium to sit alongside the loudest fans in the CFL, for the biggest national sporting event of the year,” said Wade Miller, Blue Bombers’ president and CEO.
