Manitoba drivers will have to pay a little more to insure their vehicles come March 1, 2015.
The Public Utilities Board has approved a 3.4 percent increase in premiums for vehicle insurance.
Manitoba Public Insurance asked for the rate increase as the corporation projects an $82 million loss for the current financial year.
It’s the third such increase in insurance premiums in 15 years.
