RCMP Crest LogoManitoba RCMP are trying to locate the driver of a pickup truck involved in a multi-vehicle crash on CentrePort Canada Way Tuesday night.

The crash happened at around 10:15 p.m. about 2 km west of Brookside Boulevard.

Police say two vehicles were in the ditch and both drivers had minor injuries.

While an ambulance was attending to the crash, a pickup truck struck the vehicle from behind, pushing it into a male civilian who had attended the scene to assist a family member injured in the crash.

The ambulance was parked in the curb lane on the westbound side of the road with its lights flashing at the time it was hit.

The man suffered minor injuries, as did the two female EMS workers in the ambulance.

The driver of the pickup fled the scene and RCMP are continuing to investigate.
