Applications are now being accepted by the Winnipeg Folk Festival for campers who create large-scale projects in the festival campground.
Some festival-goers like to use lumber, metal supports or a structured roof while staying in Birds Hill Provincial Park.
Organizers encourage creativity to create a unique campground experience, but plans must be pre-approved. The festival is also able to support a few projects with small financial or in-kind contribution.
Project proposals should be designed to amuse, inspire and enchant campers while contributing to a healthy and positive campground culture.
The deadline to apply is January 30, 2015.
The Winnipeg Folk Fest happens July 9-12, 2015.
