WINNIPEG — An interactive nativity play of the town of Bethlehem and the events surrounding the birth of Jesus Christ is having audiences experiencing biblical times like never before.
Bethlehem LIVE! is Gateway Community Church’s annual holiday production, currently running until Sunday, December 14.
Volunteers put on the play, which began in 2006 and has attracted 38,539 since its inception. The busiest performance ever experienced at Bethlehem LIVE! was 40 tours involving 1,360 guests on one Saturday evening.
The town is recreated entirely indoors and the 30-minute tours are free. Performances are tonight from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., as well as noon to 3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
