WINNIPEG — A colourfully-lit home in Island Lakes is catching the eyes of the neighbourhood.
The bungalow at 569 Island Shore Boulevard includes a miniature train that makes loops in the homeowner’s front yard complete with Christmas tunes.
Lit candy canes line the driveway leading up to the home, where the words “Merry Christmas” hang in lights above the garage.
The homeowner, Paul Halipchuk, has also taken a page from the popular “National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation” movie with an old fashioned mailbox donning the name “Griswold” on the side of it.
The display will be illuminated until New Years.
