A 19-year-old man is in police custody, charged with second-degree murder of a 42-year-old man in The Pas.
RCMP were called to an address on Tremauden Avenue on Friday morning at around 5 a.m. for the report of a stabbing.
The victim, from Opaskwayak Cree Nation, was taken to the local hospital where he later died.
Race Evan Shingoose, also of Opaskwayak, was arrested and remains in custody. He will make his first court appearance on Monday in The Pas.
Police say the two men knew each other and the investigation is ongoing.
