Four Manitoba Football Players Make U-18 National Team

Football ManitobaFour Manitoba football players are headed to the 2015 International Bowl series in Arlington, Texas.

The U-18 selections for Canada’s national team include four provincial athletes, including Mason Bennett (Winnipeg), Tristan Bredin (Anola, MB), Randall Sanderson (Winnipeg) and Zackary Williams (Winnipeg).

Chris Bochen, most recently a coach with the Winnipeg Rifles, will be the offensive line coach for the Canadian side.

Canada’s Under-18 roster is comprised of 26 tournament all-stars as well as 14 additional Canada Cup standouts that competed July 6-12 at the 2014 Football Canada Cup in Saskatoon.

Players will compete against Team USA on Friday, January 30, 2015 at AT&T (Cowboy) Stadium while Canada’s U19 National Team will play their U.S. counterparts on Saturday, February 7 at Maverick Stadium on the campus of the University of Texas-Arlington.
