The sights, sounds and most importantly, tastes, of New Orleans will once again make up a party atmosphere at the RBC Convention Centre.
Winnipeg Mardi Gras returns to the city February 13-14, 2015 and will kick off with a new Zombie Night on Friday the 13th. Those who come dressed in full zombie costume and make-up will be admitted free and entered to win a prize package.
Saturday the 14th will be a Valentine’s Day-themed night, featuring a night of dining, dancing and romancing. Single party-goers will be able to mix in what’s being called “singles awareness day.” Those not in a relationship will be given a red heart to wear on their sleeves.
Musical performances include Dwayne Dopsie and The Zydeco Hellraisers from New Orleans.
Tickets to the 18+ event are $16 at Ticketmaster. Tickets are also available through the JDRF Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation or Canadian Diabetes Association, which a portion of the proceeds will benefit.
