A 21-year-old man hit by a pickup truck on Friday evening has died in hospital.
The man was crossing Inkster Boulevard northbound at McGregor Street when he was struck by a vehicle travelling westbound on Inkster Boulevard at around 6:45 p.m.
The driver of the truck took off before police arrived.
The victim was taken to hospital in critical condition, but later succumbed to his injuries.
The suspect vehicle is described as a dark coloured pickup truck. Police say witnesses report a second vehicle was seen traveling in the same direction as the pickup truck when the accident occurred, and may have information on the first vehicle.
