Men Arrested After Alleged Theft from Kildonan Place

Winnipeg Police CrestThree men are in police custody after allegedly stealing merchandise from Kildonan Place Shopping Centre.

Winnipeg police were patrolling the area in the 1500 block of Regent Avenue West on Sunday when they noticed a suspicious vehicle circling the mall parking lot with no intention of parking.

Police say at one point a man was seen running from the vehicle and returning with merchandise from a nearby business without a shopping bag.

The vehicle was stopped and three men were taken into custody. Police located a sawed-off shotgun inside, as well as recently stolen electronics from a nearby business.

The suspects, aged 23, 25 and 29, are facing numerous weapon offences and theft-related charges.

They were released on a promise to appear.
