A Manitoba RCMP officer has been charged with 13 drug and weapons offences.
Daniel Daudet, 42, of the RM of La Broquerie was arrested October 21 for possession of a prohibited weapon and cocaine. He was immediately suspended with pay while police investigated.
Several more offences came to light related to when Daudet was a constable at the Killarney detachment in 2007.
The 13-year veteran was officially charged on Monday and will appear in Steinbach court on February 19, 2015. He remains suspended with pay.
