If you’ve had enough of the Christmas season already, 11 of the city’s Let’s Chip In depots open today to recycle your Christmas tree.

Residents are asked to remove all plastic tree bags, tinsel, decorations, and tree stands before leaving a tree at a depot.

Beginning in early January, free wood chips will be available at all depot locations (white quantities last). The public is asked to bring their own container for collection.

Any Christmas trees placed at the curb next to garbage and recycling carts won’t be collected.

Depots will be open until January 20.
