CentreVenture Development Corporation has named a new president and CEO to lead the organization in the new year.
Angela Mathieson will take over for the retiring Ross McGowan effective January 5, 2015.
Mathieson has a master’s degree in city planning and was selected after a comprehensive search process conducted by a committee of the CentreVenture board.
“Angela is familiar with the business and achievements of CentreVenture and we are confident that with her background and experience she will be able to lead CentreVenture as we continue to create a strong and vibrant downtown. We look forward to working with her,” said Curt Vossen, president of Richardson International and CentreVenture’s board chair.
