The new Charleswood Library will open to bookworms in mid-January following the closure of the existing location on Saturday, January 3.
The current Charleswood Library at 5014 Roblin Boulevard will close at 5 p.m. to move collections and transition services to the new location.
The book return at the current location will remain available until the new Charleswood Library (located at 6-4910 Roblin Boulevard) opens in a couple weeks. Items can also be returned to any other branch of the Winnipeg Public Library.
During the closure, holds will be sent to the St. James-Assiniboia Library at 1910 Portage Avenue, unless customers have specified that their holds be sent to a different branch.
