Manitoba RCMP have arrested a man they say threatened police officers in the RM of Ethelbert.
A heavy police presence was evident in the community north of Dauphin on Thursday morning as multiple cruisers swarmed the relatively quiet area.
Marc Dorais, 45, was arrested and charged with assault and forcible confinement in relation to a domestic assault. He is also charged with uttering threats.
No one was injured in the “high-risk” arrest.
Dorais remains in custody and will appear in Dauphin court on Monday.
