The former president and vice-chancellor of the University of Winnipeg will return to deliver a lecture on January 30.
Titled “The Next 10 Years of R2P” (Responsibility to Protect), Lloyd Axworthy’s lecture is based on research and writing of a major essay on the subject that he pursued last fall at the Rockefeller Center to be included next year in a book published by Oxford Press.
The lecture — running 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. — is free and open to the public. It will be held on the first floor of Lockhart Hall, Room 1L12, at 515 Portage Avenue.
