The seventh annual Canadian Sport Film Festival will screen 10 films at three Winnipeg venues next month.
The CSFF runs February 5-7 and will be highlighted by the Manitoba premieres of “Red White Black & Blue” and “Next Goal Wins.” The two engaging documentaries will be followed up a question and answer session, and tell the stories of the inner-city boys’ and girls’ teams from Los Angeles, and the national men’s soccer team of American Samoa, respectively.
Screenings will take place February 5 at the Manitoba Sports Hall of Fame, February 6 at Cinematheque and February 7 at The Forks.
Two free events return this year for the screening of “Mighty Jerome” and a panel discussion in celebration of Black History Month on February 5th and the return of the “snowscreen” for the free outdoor screening at The Forks on the 7th.
