Independent Jewellers, 493 Notre Dame Avenue (GOOGLE STREET VIEW)
WINNIPEG — A pickup truck and ambulance collided Saturday morning, sending the truck crashing through the front of a jewellery store on Notre Dame Avenue.
The collision happened just before 9:30 a.m. when the ambulance was travelling westbound on Notre Dame approaching a green light at Isabel Street. As the ambulance entered the intersection, the northbound pickup truck travelling northbound on Isabel collided with the other vehicle, sending the truck to go southeast into Independent Jewellers.
The four people inside the truck and two people in the ambulance were not seriously injured.
Police are continuing to investigate.
