Ongoing construction of the new RBC Convention Centre will result in partial closures of Edmonton Street and York Avenue next week.
On January 26, York Avenue from Edmonton Street to Carlton Street will be closed to all vehicles and pedestrians from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m
Edmonton Street from York Avenue to Broadway will also be closed to vehicles on Monday from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and Wednesday, January 28. Pedestrian access will be maintained.
These closures are scheduled outside of peak traffic hours to mitigate disruption to downtown traffic.
Motorists are advised to allow for additional travel time or to use alternate routes in this area to reach their destinations.
