January 26, 2015 10:55 AM | News

RCMP Crest LogoTwo drivers were taken to hospital Monday morning following a two-vehicle crash in the RM of Headingley.

RCMP say the crash happened at around 6 a.m. on Provincial Road 334 when a vehicle being driven by a 62-year-old Winnipeg woman collided head-on with another vehicle being driven by a 26-year-old Winnipeg woman.

Both drivers suffered non-life threatening injuries and were wearing their seatbelts.

RCMP say road conditions were icy at the time and appear to be a contributing factor. Alcohol has been ruled out as being involved.

Provincial Road 334 was closed between Bridge Road and the Trans-Canada Highway for about an hour.
