Two men were sent to hospital Thursday afternoon after two pickup trucks collided north of Winnipeg.
A 42-year-old Winnipeg man was travelling westbound attempting to cross Highway 59 at Dunning Road when he was struck by a northbound pickup, being driven by a 48-year-old man from the RM of St. Clements.
RCMP say the Winnipeg man appeared to suffer serious injuries, but both drivers were later released from hospital with only minor injuries.
Alcohol is not considered a factor and both drivers were wearing seatbelts.
A local detour was in effect for several hours while police investigated.
