An eco-friendly Winnipeg promotional products has won two awards for their work at the Image Awards in Toronto.

Botanical PaperWorks picked up a silver and bronze award in the green category for their products, which are embedded with seeds.

The annual awards recognized the top suppliers and distributors in the Canadian promotional product industry.

“We are thrilled to be recognized with these awards,” said company president Heidi Reimer-Epp. “It is a great honour to be chosen by our peers as the best in the industry.”

The silver award went to a project with Prospera Credit Union and distributor Trisha Miller of Genumark. Prospera used Botanical PaperWorks plantable herb seed paper matchbooks to promote their sponsorship of the Slow Foods Tour and the tour values — gardening, healthy eating and community.

The bronze award was awarded for a project with BMS Trading and distributor Rachel Ramos of Lifestyles Promotions.
