Two children are safe after the vehicle they were in was stolen Wednesday night.
Winnipeg police say the mother of the two had just parked in the 200 block of Princess Street when two men approached. Following a brief confrontation, the suspects jumped in the vehicle and took off with the children — aged one and three — still inside.
The vehicle was located a short distance away with the children still safely inside.
No description of the suspects is available.
