What do you love most about downtown Winnipeg? You should put it in writing.
With Valentine’s Day coming up on Saturday, the Downtown Winnipeg BIZ is calling on citizens to create their own valentine to express their feelings for the city’s core.
“We’re excited to see what people love most about our vibrant and diverse downtown, and provide a fun activity for those who spend their time here,” said Stefano Grande, executive director of the Downtown Winnipeg BIZ.
“We’re always working to improve the perception of our downtown, and this activation is sure to boost some spirits.”
Valentines will be posted in a vacant storefront on the second floor of Portage Place.
A crafting station is available today until Friday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the former Lennard Taylor Launch It! space on the second floor of Portage Place. Those who create their own valentines ahead of time can drop theirs off.
