WINNIPEG — Love is in the air at Assiniboine Park Zoo, particularly in the cougar cub enclosure.

Zoo staff say snow leopards and a cougar cub received an early Valentine’s Day treat this week.

The public is being invited down to the zoo on Saturday (February 14) to see the animals receive further treats for the love-struck day.

Visitors can also take advantage of Northern Explorer Month, where they pay for one regular admission and can return all month for free.

The zoo is open daily from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
