More changes have come to Winnipeg radio as 102.3 Clear FM rebrands itself.
KiSS 102.3 debuted just before 9 a.m. on Friday. Rogers Media is rolling out a national brand of several stations to centralize marketing efforts around one name — similar to Bell Media’s Virgin Radio brand.
The musical format of upbeat adult contemporary will remain in place and no staff positions will be cut as a result of the change.
In the fall 2014 radio ratings, Clear FM pulled in a 5.0 share — down slightly from a 5.7 held for the same period the year before.
Across the city, Corus Entertainment will “refresh” 99.1 Fresh FM beginning at noon as they prepare to launch their new morning show with JD Francis and Vicki Shae.
