Leaf Rapids
Winnipeg musician Keri Latimer has teamed up with husband for her latest project.
Leaf Rapids is the joint efforts of Keri and Devin Latimer, who will both perform at the West End Cultural Centre on April 17.
Latimer is best known for her four albums with the Juno-award winning band Nathan.
The songs on Leaf Rapids’ Lucky Stars album range from catchy country tunes like “Gravity” to more reflective numbers like the gorgeous “Galaxie 500.” The album also showcases Keri’s flair with the theremin which is an indispensable component of Leaf Rapids’ sound.
Tickets are $20 at the door or $15 in advance through the WECC, Ticketfly, Winnipeg Folk Festival Music Store and Music Trader.
