FIFA’s coveted Women’s World Cup trophy is making 12 Canadian stops ahead of this summer’s tournament.
Winnipeg soccer fans will be able to get an up-close look at the hardware May 8-10 at Polo Park Shopping Centre.
The tour, sponsored by Coca-Cola, will be rallying fans around Canada’s national women’s team leading up to the big event in June.
“As Coca-Cola and FIFA bring the Trophy across Canada, and we see the support and pride that Canadians have for the game and our team, it will push us even harder,” said John Herdman, head coach of the Canadian women’s team.
More information on the tour and how to claim free tickets is available at coca-cola.ca/trophytour.
