RCMP have laid charges against a Manitoba woman after stolen items appeared on Kijiji.
Police allege Jami Genik, 22, of Riverton posted items on the popular buying and selling website that were stolen from a home in the RM of Bifrost.
The break-in occurred on January 19 and police received a report the following day that items had been posted online. During the break-in, cash, electronics and other household items were taken.
Police were able to arrest the woman and recover some of the stolen items.
Genik has been charged with possession of stolen property, break and enter, and theft. She was released on a promise to appear.
