A traffic stop in the Ile-des-Chenes area Sunday has resulted in several charges for a Steinbach man.
Manitoba RCMP pulled over the motorist at around 4 p.m. for a traffic offence, where they soon discovered marijuana, methamphetamine, and a prohibited weapon.
Police also seized the vehicle.
Eric Jonathan Schinkel, 27, is facing eight charges and appeared in Winnipeg court today.
Police are continuing to investigate.
